Buoy Beer and Cleaning

Image
Last year the Buoy beer company spilled hundreds of these plastic labels to the river where they proceeded to head to sea.  We cleaned up hundreds of them at Long beach, Washington all last summer.  We lost count after 500!  I never thought they would show up at South jetty Oregon this summer but I guess ocean currents are fickle as fuck.   The polluting of our oceans continue.   I will continue to clean the beach wherever I can.  And if we aren't near the sea, then any litter pick I can get done matters.  Preserving wildlife and nature are my priority.   #leavenotrace #noplanetb

Balloons Blow

Image
My beach cleaning journey continues.  While at Pacific city, Oregon, I have cleaned up one bag of beach trash for every beach walk.   This is a beach where cars are allowed and I do not find it a coincidence that the trash is twofold as compared to the ' no driving allowed'  beaches.    Multiple dog shit bags, beer cans, cigarette butts, balloons, plastic cups, straws, shredded bags, aluminum cans, fishing detrititus as well.   I don't understand how people can keep destroying nature.  It is unfathomable how anyone can destroy such beauty.   Watercolor , I didn't attempt the seagulls.  ðŸĪŠ
